Welcome to my Blog, enjoy your stay!
I arrived in Edmonton Monday evening and it was 28C and the sun is still shining two days later and it is 31C. Makes for warm walking but I get a bit done anyway.
My two check-ups are completed and I have a clean bill of health for awhile. I will return in December for a Kidney check but the skin Doctor says I am fine and don't need a follow-up. That is great the small patches of skin cancer were successfully treated and there are no scars. In my case one more scar wouldn't really matter, but it is nice to know that they did such a fine job.
Tonight I dine Jamaican style with my friends in Edmonton and return home tomorrow. I have picked up my meds and a new set of wet suit boots so I am ready to roll north.
Seems I am missing a wet suit boot or it is so well stored that I can no longer find it. This time I went for the zippered model which will make getting them on and off easier. There is also the chance that a local canine wandered off with it. My dry suit has boots attached but the 7mm suit requires booties. I use this suit for short dives and for deeper dives that last longer I switch up to the dry suit. Nothing like diving cold water dry, you are so warm it is great.
Tomorrow are quick trip to the local MEC store for paddle wax and a quick trip to Milarms just for th fun of it. Milarms always has great stuff. I want to put a rifled barrel on my shot gun and am hoping they have one or can get one for a reasonable price.
I seem to have enough time when here to get everything done , however money isn't as easy to come by as time. Probably a good thing as ny little place is full anyway and finding a place to put things is getting harder. Cheers, Greg
