Leaves are turning and winterizing the house is become a constant thought. Chances of winning the lottery so that I could live warm all years are slim so winterizing it is.

I was testing the lake water today and already she is losing the summers warmth. Our summer this here unfortunately seems as though it will be short lived. looks like free roll practice is about to end. practicing kayak skills in the warm water of the pool is always nice but unfortunately the pool in Yellowknife is not a cheap rental.

The Paddlers for parts association may have to do a little pool time fundraising if we wih to play this winter. Dreaming of squirt boating is warm rivers where drysuits never enter your mind. I better get the year end done or we will get the dreaded warning letter. I will be back to continue this but better get my walk in while I still have the energy.
