Daily repairs

The bump feed on the weed-wacker today was working great and then broke in half. Still I got almost seven or eight years use out of it and the replacement piece was 13.00 bucks, I can live with that. I now have to head back over to Amandas tomorrow and finish her back yard. I used this machine for a couple or 3 years at the local biathalon shooting range to keep it cleared and that was a big area maybe 75 meters by 25 meters or close enough to it. Still on the original sprak plug and this bump feed was the first real repair.

I had to ride to Canadian Tire to buy the part and thought since the loop is halfway done I may as well do the rest of my daily ride. Now that the sun has cooled off I will go back and do the daily walk and things are back on schedule, but my laundry is done. slowly but surely we are getting somewhere. After todays step count I should be well on the way to Elk Point, AB and the next waypoint will be the Saskatchewan border. That means in about 3 weeks if all goes well I will have completed British Columbia and Alberta and be working on province number 3.

After the repair was completed I decided to make the daily stroll and should have really changed into something other than shorts. About a third of the walk takes place along the Frame lake trail which is a willow-lined trail for walking and biking. The city has done a nice job on this section of trail and it is well maintained and easy going. Just enough up and down to prevent boredom. However after the heat of the day is gone it is a walk in Mosquitoe Alley. I knew this before I left and decided it won't be that bad and it was that bad. I was glad to hit the open road and the breeze after about 20 minutes in the bug zone. This burst did however put me through St.Pauls, AB and I am heading full blast for Elk Point.
