Weed eaters one fixed and one to go

Living close to the water has many benefits and fast growing weeds isn't one of them. I live on the border of a small wetland which is great but the weeds seem to migrate from the swamp to the backyards of all places. Endless sunshine anmd plenty of rain keep the place growing and they require cutting 4/5 times a summer. I do all the houses around my house and they donate to the Paddlers for Parts in return. It really doesn't take all that long, you just have to stay on top of it. I have a big twin wire machine but the rewind is all screwed up at the moment and I will have to take the whole machine apart to fix it. They do not make them easy to fix at home.

Today I knocked off 16,500 steps along the trail and managed to ride my airport route in good time. Traffic at rush hour in Yellowknife believe it or not, could drive you nuts. seems the road is always emtpy till you need to cross it, then there are line-ups of cars in both directions. You no sooner get across and the roads are empty but if you try to cross the cars arrive. I think they have a camera somewhere and do it just to bug the cyclist.

I managed to get the bang feed on the small weed-eater repaired just required a good cleaning and a tad of spray silicone to make her run smoothly again. The large one is a much bigger job not that hard but they are lots of little bits to keep track of. I have tried finding a manual for it on line but no such luck. I did however find a fourm that did nothing except complain about the rewinds on the model I was given. Not a great sign.

Managed to turn 52 today without much trouble. In fact it was so easy I never really noticed I did it. All and all a pretty good day and looking forward to another tomorrow. Cheers and thanks for dropping in. Greg
